Date

26 September 2023

Jaime Álvarez, founder and creative director of Mans Concept, is an alumnus of IED Madrid School of Fashion

Jaime Álvarez has won the L'Oréal Paris Award for Best Collection on his debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid with his brand Mans Concept.

The collection that secured Mans Concept’s victory was the catwalk presentation of its first womenswear collection (Spring–Summer 2024).

A collection marking his debut in womenswear, featuring tailored pieces that reinterpret the classic codes of the genre whilst maintaining the brand’s essence. Highlights include oversized blazers, which contrast with pieces such as slim-fit trousers that elongate the feminine silhouette.

Mans Concept is renowned for championing the elegance and sophistication of classic pieces, focusing on immaculate and exuberant tailoring.

Jaime Álvarez, the brand’s founder and creative director, studied for a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design at IED Madrid.

Congratulations to our Alumni!
