Today marks the beginning of the final thesis session for the 2025/26 Academic Year at IED Milano. Developed in collaboration with companies, institutions and partner organisations, the projects reflect months of research, experimentation and design applied to real-world contexts.

Once again this year, the projects stem from challenges proposed by leading organisations in their respective fields, offering students the opportunity to tackle concrete professional scenarios and highly relevant contemporary issues.

The session opens with the Master in UX Design, presenting a project developed in collaboration with Sky. It will be followed by presentations from the other Master programmes, which have explored topics ranging from digital service innovation to branding and communication strategies, from the development of new brand identities to the design of experiences, editorial content and formats, working alongside partners such as Gruppo Manetti & Roberts, L’Officiel Italia, Lavazza and many other national and international organisations.

While addressing different challenges, the projects share a common design ambition: understanding how behaviours, expectations and contexts are evolving in order to imagine new forms of interaction between people, organisations, communities and territories.

The thesis session represents a moment where research, design vision and practical application come together, reaffirming IED’s role as a place of learning that connects creativity, innovation and real professional contexts.
