The adoption of the Code, in compliance with Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001, further strengthens the principles that guide the Institute and the entities belonging to its Group.
The adoption of the Code is part of the governance and compliance initiatives promoted in line with Legislative Decree 231/2001 and represents a further step in strengthening the principles that guide the actions of the Institute and all the organizations within the Group.
Established in 2003 at the initiative of Francesco Morelli, who founded IED in 1966, the Fondazione Francesco Morelli is a private, non-profit philanthropic organization that promotes social benefit objectives through the dissemination of design culture, innovation, and education. By designating the Foundation as his sole universal heir, Francesco Morelli expressed a clear vision: all organizations within the Group are called upon to contribute to the achievement of the Foundation’s goals, sharing its values and principles.
Through the adoption of the Code of Ethics, IED formalizes its commitment to operating according to principles of responsibility, integrity, inclusion, and sustainability, translating these values into concrete actions and guiding its strategic and operational decisions.
The Codes of Ethics are available for consultation in the Governance section of the website.
