A community entirely dedicated to our Alumni's interests.

It is now on line the first IED Alumni official Linkedin group!
A private yet global space dedicated to more than 200 000 Alumni worldwide and aimed at providing a global hub of meaningful and spontaneous connections among IED graduates of all ages and nationalities who share similar interests.

In this group, members can strengthen the sense of belonging to our school’s values by

- sharing knowledge
- looking for collaborations for new projects
- spreading the word about job opportunities and
- advocating for significant causes

Leaders of this first release are 4 exceptional Alumni who have been collaborating with IED in the last years in its mission to inspire new generations to interpret design creativity with ethics, technical skills and innovative visions. They are:

  • Serena Bonomi
She studied Design Innovation, Strategy and Product at IED Milano and now she’s circular economy innovator and consultant. She went from being a student to being a teacher in the same course, thanks to her extensive experience as strategic designer in companies, institutions and no-profit associations. In the Alumni Linkedin Group, she will be sharing career tips and insights on circular economy and sustainability.

  • Oscar Anibal Pozuelos
Alumnus of both IED Madrid and IED Milano in Graphic Design and Design for Social Business, Oscar is Design Strategist particularly focused on innovation, impact and entrepreneurship. He is already a IED Ambassador and Alumni Mentor, meaning that he makes his knowledge available for free for younger Alumni who want to go deeper in topics such as business models in design and customer-driven solutions. He will be sharing thoughts about the transformative power of design and useful resources for personal development and continuous learning.

  • Preeti Shinde
She is IED Milano Alumna in Fashion Marketing and Communication. She has been working many years in branding and marketing, but her true passion is writing. She is currently using her skills to make IT language understandable to everybody and within the Alumni community she will be sharing insights about projects going on in India and the revolutionary power of culture. She is the leader of the newborn India Chapter, a project by IED aimed at fostering connections among Italian and Indian cultural institutions.

  • Gabriel Zangari
IED Milano Alumnus in Industrial Design, he is now Executive Design Director for Design Group Italia, an international design studio specialised in designing tangible solutions based on data and research. Gabriel is living in New York, where he co-founded Salotto, an incredible creative hub for Italian talents in the city. Thanks to him and other Alumni, IED launched its very first Alumni Chapter, during a beautiful event hosted right by Salotto NY. He will be nurturing the community with news from the US alongside his professional insights.
