Towards energy self-consumption

With this operation, IED Barcelona becomes the largest photovoltaic installation in Barcelona’s Gràcia neighborhood, where the school is located

In line with its commitment to sustainability, IED Barcelona has taken advantage of the large rooftop areas of its Point One facility to install 412m2 of photovoltaic panels. These devices will make it possible to capture solar energy to obtain electricity, resulting in great energy savings.

Specifically, it is expected that the design school will be able to self-produce up to 40% of its electricity consumption, making it possible to move towards energy self-consumption.

With this operation, IED Barcelona becomes the largest photovoltaic installation in Barcelona’s Gràcia neighborhood, where the school is located.
