An accessible cohousing model between adaptive reuse and quality of living.

COHO MUNITY transforms a former industrial building into a residential system based on accessibility, flexibility and sharing. The recovery of the existing heritage becomes an opportunity to experiment with new ways of living, where adaptable housing units, common spaces and sustainable solutions create a domestic environment open to relationships.

The Manifattura di Moncalieri becomes the starting point to reflect on the contemporary housing emergency and imagine new residential models able to respond to demographic changes, urban loneliness and environmental challenges. Starting from the existing built heritage, the project promotes more accessible, sustainable forms of coexistence focused on the quality of living.
