A photographic project exploring the various forms of the Dolomites

The thesis project Da sempre qui focuses on the environment and landscape of the Dolomites, intertwined with memory and the recollection of a place in constant transformation.

The photographs were taken over the course of a year across South Tyrol, Trentino, and Veneto, aiming to capture the unique characteristics of each season of life in the mountains.
The final outcome of the project is a photographic book.

In addition to being a tribute to this territory, the book seeks to draw attention to the identity of the contemporary mountain landscape and the transformations that this already fragile environment has undergone in recent decades, especially due to the rise of mass tourism and the impact of climate change.
