Flores para un monstruo begins as a reflection on exclusion and stigma, paying tribute to all those who, troughout history, have been marginalised for being different. Through fashion, the project redefines the figure of the monster, transforming it into a symbol of resilience, vulnerability and beauty.
The collection creates a dialogue between delicacy and unease, combining the language of haute couture with elements associated with the grotesque and the fantastical. Silk, lace, leather, feathers and organza come together in highly dramatic silhouettes, where the tension between fragility and strength constructs an imaginary that challenges conventional ideas of beauty and monstrosity.
Craftsmanship plays a central role in the development of every piece. Hand embroidery, feather appliqués, corseted structures, sculptural volumes and luxurious materials are brought together in garments conceived as characters, each capable of telling a story in which difference is no longer a cause for exclusion but an act of affirmation. Every look offers a new interpretation of what society has learned to reject, inviting us to recognise the beauty found in imperfection and discomfort.
Flores para un monstruo is a dedication to everyone who has ever been judged for their identity, their origins or their way of being. A project that transforms design into an act of symbolic reparation, reminding us that sometimes the flowers most worth giving are those offered to the people the world insisted on calling monsters.
