A temporary housing complex that integrates accommodation, services, and training to support autonomy, inclusion, and social reintegration
The project proposes the creation of a temporary housing complex for people in conditions of vulnerability, with particular attention to young parents.
The structure integrates independent housing units, social and healthcare services, and spaces for socialization, aimed at fostering autonomy and the socio-professional reintegration of its residents.
At the core of the complex is a multidisciplinary counseling center offering psychological and medical support, as well as family mediation, alongside guidance and vocational training programs connected to public-facing food service activities.
In addition to hosting trainees and caregivers, the complex promotes inclusion through hybrid spaces accessible to the public, encouraging a positive interaction with the neighborhood.
The initiative critically responds to the under-dimensioning of Italian counseling centers, aiming to strengthen teams and comply with legal standards, while strongly reaffirming the public and secular nature of the service.
ABITARE CON CURA. Per un abitare collettivo e collaborativo a Torino is a project that explores new forms of shared living at the site of the former Superga, rethinking domestic space as a device of mutualism, relationships, and care. Under the guidance of Sex & the City (Azzurra Muzzonigro and Florencia Andreola), with the support of Renata Boeri, the students of the Master’s Program in Interior Design of IED Turin developed proposals capable of responding to contemporary social transformations.
