In collaboration with Cosmopolitan Italia and under the guidance of lecturer Bernardo Savastano, second-year students from the Undergraduate course in Fashion Styling and Art Direction developed an editorial project for Pride Month, responding to a real-world brief and creating original content for publication. The aim was to portray Rome through the stories of those who live it, offering a narrative that reflects the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The project took shape through two editorial features dedicated to Gabriele Piazza and Giorgiomaria Cornelio, with students overseeing the entire creative process, from concept development to the photographic shoots and interviews. Fashion, imagery and storytelling come together to explore themes of identity, belonging and self-expression, turning each feature into a personal and meaningful portrait.
Published on Cosmopolitan Italia's platforms, the project gave students the opportunity to engage with the realities of contemporary editorial production, experiencing a complete creative workflow in collaboration with one of Italy's leading lifestyle magazines.
