Exploring materials, processes and circular textile practices.

The project brings together research and hands-on experiments exploring materials, processes and circular thinking.

Through weaving, embroidery, layering, reuse and textile manipulation, students investigate how surfaces can become spaces for testing new visual and tactile languages.

Samples, material studies and three-dimensional compositions reveal different approaches to texture, structure and colour. The project considers experimentation not only as a design method, but also as a way of questioning established production models and imagining more conscious textile practices.

Projects by Iris Lux, Ruby Berryman, José Miguel Pimenta Filipe, Shailvi Kumari and Krista Yankova. Curated by Umberto Sannino.
