MNEME

Memory is not only something to be preserved: it can also be worn.

In her graduation project, BA in Fashion Design student Anna Buffetti explores the relationship between personal memory, family heritage and identity.

Starting from inherited photographs and textiles, MNEME translates personal and family memories into a contemporary fashion collection. Vintage crochet, lace and embroidery are reinterpreted through sculptural volumes and protective silhouettes, transforming domestic craftsmanship into a material and emotional archive.

The final campaign brings the collection back into the home, where bodies, garments and rooms continue to hold traces of what came before.
