Quisiera recordar stems from a personal family story to explore the relationship between identity, memory and loss, turning fashion into an emotional archive capable of preserving what time gradually begins to erase. Inspired by the figure of the designer´s grandmother, the project reconstructs a life throught garments, photographs and materials that become silent witnesses to a shared history.
The collection creates a dialogue between workwear-inspired tailoring and the delicacy of women's lingerie from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Uniforms, industrial fabrics, lace, tulle and inherited garments are reinterpreted to build a visual language where the intimate and the everyday coexist, transforming clothing into a vehicle for telling stories of memory and the passage of time.
As the collection unfolds, its silhouettes evolve from clearly defined structures into softer, layered and more diffuse forms. Transparencies, aged materials and distressed finishes translate the transformation of memory into textile language, while elements such as hemp fibre and recovered lingerie introduce new layers of meaning into a narrative rooted in personal experience.
Quisiera recordar reflects on what remains when memory begins to fade. A collection that understands design as a tool to care for, reconstruct and keep alive the bond between people, their stories and the objects that accompany them.
