Academic year

2025 - 2026

This work begins at a charged site - Ponte Marconi - and develops as a reflection on a quiet yet pervasive presence: suicide. Through images and signs, the project forms a dialogue between space and memory. The symbols introduced into the photographs act as deliberate markers: they do not simply depict the place but shift its meaning, steering the viewer toward another reading. The area around the bridge becomes part of the narrative, a space layered with traces and references, making visible a reality often concealed and difficult to confront.

The Searchlights is the second chapter of Ti vorrei dire, a three-year project developed in collaboration with Gallerie d'Italia - Torino, a part of Intesa Sanpaolo. The projects map out the urgencies of our time through the perspective of a new generation. Ecological and climate crises, dynamics of power and representation, identity, mental health, precarity, memory and narratives of the present run through the works, shaping a collective account that restores complexity to what is too often reduced to a label.
