CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) harnesses emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality to bring new worlds and interactive experiences to life.

In the  Bachelor of Arts in CG Animation and Game Design, you will learn how to conceive, model, and animate objects, characters, environments, and visual effects using 3D digital technologies.

The study programme has a strong technical and technological focus, involving the use of the most advanced languages and techniques related to CG animation — 3D modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering — applying them to different aspects of design, from environment creation to 3D character design and video sequence compositing, right through to the interactivity of game design.

Throughout the three-year course, you will develop the ability to manage the complexity of a project in all its phases, balancing creative, production, and technological needs. You will also work through interdisciplinary collaboration with students from other courses, exploring the many connections with the world of digital and interactive design.

Guided by a faculty holding key industry roles, and through collaborative projects with external partners, you will engage with the diverse fields where CG animation is applied — from film and video games to VR, immersive experiences, advertising, and communication.
