The designer and illustrator will give a lecture in the country in September
Next September, the IED team will travel to Panama with Javier Royo,, designer, illustrator, creativity expert and teacher at the IED Kunsthal Bilbao.
During his visit, Javier Royo will give a lecture within the framework of the Panamá Fashion Week 2024
“Creativity - Combing your hair every day with creativity” is the name of the lecture that will take place at this event and the following questions will be addressed: How can I exercise it in my day to day life? What is the creative process? How can I learn to develop it to evolve? How can I ask different questions that lead me to different results?

About Javier Royo
In addition to his teaching work at the IED Kunsthal Bilbao, Javier Royo is the creative director of Chispum Studio and collaborates with media such as the newspaper El País, La Maleta de Portbou, Uppers and El Estafador.
He is also the author of the publications "Homo Machus", "Life is sho" or "Dibujo, luego pienso", among others. Also notable are his project to humanise spaces for the UTAE clinic (Sant Joan de Déu Hospital), selected as a finalist in the Illustration World Awards among the 12 most important Environmental Illustration projects in the world; and the 2020 Gràffica Award. In 2021 he produced a large mural painting at the Barcelona Design Museum as a guest artist at the exhibition dedicated by the museum to Banksy.
