From 17 to 21 April, IED Barcelona will participate in Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2024 with a hybrid exhibition of wedding dresses.
Using virtual reality glasses, visitors will be able to experience the final collections by the 2022/2023 Postgraduate in Wedding and Ceremony Dresses Design students. In addition, three alumni will present a selection of creations in physical format in the event's central Village, and 10 other dresses will be exhibited in the “¡Barcelona Goes Bridal!” programme, an innovative performance in collaboration with La Fura dels Baus located at Reina Maria Cristina Avenue.
Further, Andrea Marchesi, Director of IED Barcelona, will be part of the jury of the second edition of the Barcelona Bridal & Fashion Awards, taking place on 20 April.
Under the motto “Now” and with a daring image, created by artificial intelligence, Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2024 will bring together more than 350 national and international brands along with young talent at the Montjuïc venue, in what will be its most digital edition yet.
