On Thursday, 2 July, IED Kunsthal Bilbao will celebrate the third edition of its Degree Show, the event that marks the culmination of the academic journey of students graduating from the Bachelor’s Degree in Higher Artistic Education in Design, specialising in Fashion, Product, Interior and Graphic Design.
Throughout this public event, the school will be transformed into a large-scale exhibition showcasing a selection of the students’ Final Degree Projects, alongside the Fashion Show featuring collections created by Fashion Design students.
The Degree Show is one of the most significant moments of the academic year for the IED Kunsthal Bilbao community. More than an exhibition of projects, it represents the public presentation of the work, research and development undertaken by students throughout their years of study, as well as an opportunity to share new perspectives on design and its ability to respond to contemporary challenges.
Each year, the event brings together students, families, professionals, companies, institutions and cultural organisations, consolidating its role as a meeting point between academia and industry, and as a platform for showcasing emerging talent that will soon become part of the creative sector.
This edition also coincides with IED’s 60th anniversary, making it an especially meaningful occasion to celebrate a long-standing commitment to design education together with the educational, professional and cultural communities.
