· IED Barcelona Fashion Films

The short films by Anna Guitart (“Morriña”), Chabela Soler-Cabot (“Recreo”), Julia R. Heine (“Lunch at the Tennis Court”) and Maria Andrea Hernández (“A Tragedy”) will be shown on 19 March at 4 pm at Mooby Cinemas Bosque (Rambla de Prat, 16). These are the winning film and three finalists from the latest edition of the IED Barcelona Isabel Coixet Best Fashion Film Award, a prize presented by the prestigious filmmaker during the IED Barcelona annual fashion show, “Fashioners of the World”.

· Styling Slam

On 19 March at 5 pm at Casa Capell, following the round table of the day on sustainability, and as part of the festival’s parallel activities programme, Fashion Styling students will create their proposals live using garments on site. 

Free admission with prior reservation, until sold out.

 

· The Past: Is Tradition the New Language of Innovation?

Pilar Pasamontes, Scientific Director of the Fashion area at IED Barcelona, will be part of the panel of experts at the round table that will take place at Casa Capell on 19 March at 6 pm.
