Unleash your creative potential with our tips and tricks!

Why is the portfolio so important? What are the fundamental steps for its realization? Have you heard about the importance of making a sketchbook in order to show your creative process? Which platform can I use to design my portfolio?

These are some of the many questions that we will try to answer to understand which contents are necessary for the composition of an effective portfolio – the starting point for a successful study path or professional career in a creative field.
Words such as inspiration, process, creativity, skills, synthesis, final proposal, and template… will all contribute to this event's vocabulary.

The lecture will be followed by a quick round of portfolio reviews for all interested students – take advantage of this occasion if you are considering an application to an Undergraduate, Master or short program! The activity is suitable for anyone interested in Design, Fashion, Visual Arts, Communication or Arts, and will be a great opportunity to learn more about the IED academic offering in Italy and Spain.

The lecture and portfolio reviews will be led by Julia Pelletier, IED Ambassador.
Graduated in Textile Design at L’Ensaama, Paris and specialised in silk-screen printing at Central Saint Martins College, London, Julia works as a freelancer and flows from one discipline to another. She is also responsible for the Fashion Textile Design course at IED Barcelona Fashion School and BA Honors Course Module Leader.

Registration is mandatory by filling in THIS FORM

The entrance is free until the full capacity is reached.
