IED presents a Latin American designs exhibition under the goals of the New European Bauhaus at the Fiesta Design ILE during the Madrid Design Fest 2023

Latin American talent, creativity and innovation lands at the Madrid Design Festival on February 15th. Within the framework of the Fiesta Design, the exhibition Latam Creative Talent will be open to the public until February 26 at the Institución Libre de Enseñanza (ILE).

United by the same language and by a common passion, IED has created this initiative with the aim of recognizing Latin American talent and showcasing the best projects in the sector. To carry it out, ties have been strengthened with Latin American organizations such as Lima Design Week and Chio Lecca Fashion School from Peru, the Mario Hernández Award from Colombia, and in Mexico with Mexico Design Week, Design Week Puebla and Querétaro Design Week.

In addition, these projects will be shown together with a selection of proposals made by Latin American IED students who have developed their talent in the Spanish campuses: Anthuanet Falcón (IED Madrid - Product Design), Josefina Maiza (IED Madrid - Fashion Communication), Daniela Grisela Beizaga (IED Madrid - Product Design), Sara Rekalde (IED Barcelona - Fashion Design), Sofia Novales (IED Barcelona - Product Design), Ivana Mulanovich (IED Barcelona - Transportation Design) and Joaquín Peiró (IED Barcelona - Transportation Design.

The project selection was made following the three main goals of the New European Bauhaus: Sustainability, Togetherness and Beauty.
