Exclusive event for the IED Community
An event to discuss about art, design, craftsmanship and the value of manual work
As every year, LOEWE FOUNDATION together with IED Madrid invite you to the talk about contemporary craftsmanship on the occasion of the ninth edition of LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize.
Scott Chaseling, glass artist, Nifemi Marcus-Bello, artist and designer, and Sara Flynn, ceramicist – all members of the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize Expert Committee – will discuss craft with artistic ambition and its relationship to tradition and the future. Anatxu Zabalbeascoa, Executive Secretary of the Committee, will moderate the meeting.
The event will take place next Tuesday, 20th January, at 7:30 pm at Espacio Cultural Serrería Belga, next to Paseo del Prado (entrance on Calle Alameda 15).
The talk will take place in English.
The number of places is limited, so inscription is required by completing the form below. Registration will be open until 3 pm on Friday, 16 January.
Registration does not guarantee a place. It will be confirmed in a subsequent email.
This is an activity exclusively for IED Community, so it is ESSENTIAL to register with the student email address.
