A total of 23 multidisciplinary workshops in which nearly 400 students will put their creativity to the test

Multidisciplinary Workshops Week is a space for creation where students from IED Barcelona’s various schools work together over the course of a week, exploring new methodologies, techniques and tools specific to design. This enables them to come into contact with other disciplines and provides them with additional knowledge to complement their academic programmes.

Some of the workshops included in this year’s programme are: Breaking Moulds; Data-Driven Music Machine; Gastronomy of the Future: Food Design; Imprints of Nature; Light Matter: Interactions; Maquillaje Expresión; Rejeter (in collaboration with Trilla); and Still Photography and Fashion (in collaboration with Munich).

A jury of experts will award special mentions to the most outstanding proposals, and a selection of the projects will be showcased in a final exhibition as a culmination of the multidisciplinary experience.

The Multidisciplinary Workshops Week includes the collaboration of Guarro Casas and Lorente.

Event for the IED Barcelona community.
