A series of events in Mexico exploring Service Design from a strategic perspective.
Design, data, and business as key drivers to address today’s challenges.
Next april, the IED team will travel to México with Idoia García de Cortázar, expert Service Design designer and lecturer at Kunsthal Bilbao and IED Barcelona.
During her visit, García de Cortázar will give a series of workshops and lectures in collaboration with local academic partners. From april 20th to 25th, she will visit some of the most renowned Mexican universities in the field of the creative industries.
Under the title "Service Design as a strategic driver for business” the conference will be held in different cities. It will address Service Design, as a strategic element for understanding and meeting customer needs in an era of significant challenges for businesses. In this way, design becomes a lever for accelerating technological innovation within the organization and addressing external changes.
The goal is for participants to see the opportunity presented by working around three essential pillars: design and data; technology and engineering; and business development.
About Idoia García de Cortázar
Graduate in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), she holds a Master's degree in the Social Function of Design and a Master's degree in Innovation Strategies and Business Design Management for the Silver Economy. She teaches and directs innovation projects at various public and private universities. She leads research projects in diverse areas of the Silver Economy. She manages Humanizza, a company specializing in consulting focused on measuring the quality of services and products in the Silver Economy, through the implementation of innovation, Big Data, and AI.
She is also a Program Leader and faculty member for the Máster en Service Design at IED Kunsthal Bilbao
