The proposal, selected from 93 national projects, addresses the impact of current mobility restrictions on student travel.

Offland, a project by third year Graphic Design students at IED Barcelona Jonatan Torreblanca and Xabier Isasti, has been selected as the finalist for Spain in the third edition of the international social innovation challenge Red Bull Basement

The proposal, selected from 93 national projects, addresses the impact of current mobility restrictions on student travel by developing an online platform that merges virtual reality and physical environments.

Competing with students from over thirty countries, Offland has moved into the development phase. Its creators will now participate in a three-day global workshop and a final pitch, where the best idea from among the remaining candidates will be chosen. Prior to the global workshop, the students will further develop the idea, with the FabLab BCN team joining them as mentors.
