Can design change the status quo?

On 7 May, IED Barcelona hosted the presentation of the book Design Leadership Chronicles, a graphic novel by design leader, author and speaker Marzia Aricò.
Recounting the true stories of nine design leaders and how they used strategic design to generate significant change in their respective organisations, the book serves as an illustrated guide to understand how to achieve the right change through this discipline.
With an introduction by Manuela Procopio, Academic Manager at IED Barcelona, the event was designed as an interactive session for students and the public in attendance. They participated in a role-playing game based on several chapters from the book and then discussed the power of design as a tool for generating alternative futures.
