The event was attended by more than two hundred students, and over one hundred companies. Furthermore, about two thousand one-to-one interviews were conducted, both in person and online.

These are the numbers of the days dedicated to the Career Interview, a vital recruiting event (in hybrid mode) organised again this year by the IED Roma’s Career Service and intended for all new graduates of the three-year courses. For the two-day event, which took place on 18 and 19 July at IED Roma’s main seat, the Institute mediated the meeting between company recruiters and more than two hundred students. This is to offer the latter privileged professional opportunities.

Over one hundred fashion, design, communication and visual arts companies opened their doors to young designers. Among them: Accenture, Benedetta Bruzziches, Bomba dischi, Bulgari, Calzedonia, Doroty Circus Gallery, Fendi, Fuksas, Leroy Merlin, Liu Jo, Max Mara, McCANN, Pomellato, Renault, RDS, Save the cut, TBWA, Valentino, WLA.

The IED Career Service staff was set up to help students take their first steps into the professional world. Every year the office follows up with students, presents their portfolios to interested external companies and organises selection interviews for internships and collaborations. In this way, IED guarantees classes a personalised activity of constant support and monitoring.

The Graduation Ceremony followed the Career Interview days. In fact, on the afternoon of 20 July, IED Roma’s new graduates, together with their families and friends, took part in the final ceremony of the academic year in the garden of the via Alcamo seat.
On this occasion, the candidates of the IED Roma Design Awards 2023, which rewards the best thesis projects of the academic year, were also announced. The winners will be revealed in Autumn, in the prestigious setting of the “Teatro dell’Opera”.
