A 20-hour workshop to learn methodologies and tools to address and respond to the most urgent challenges of contemporary society

For the fifth year running, IED is the only Italian organisation to organise the Global Goals Jam, with Project Leader Italy for GGJ Global being Simona Maccagnani.

The Global Goals Jam is a collaborative project of cross-cultural experimentation promoted by the Digital Society School (HvA) in Amsterdam in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme and supported by the World Design Organisation.

A global and interdisciplinary community involving organisations, universities, companies, institutions and young creatives committed to promoting real impact on environment, society, governance (ESG) for the achievement of the 17 SDGs of the 2030 Agenda.

IED interprets the Jam with its own specific approach: from the valorisation of inter-transdisciplinary methodologies, from the choice of a local theme of urgent priority for the SDGs, to the preparation of impact assessment models and dedicated tools.

From 15 to 17 September at Via Bezzecca 5 in Milan, 20 young talents from the Milan office, guided by expert coaches, will face a highly topical challenge:

How to create awareness of preconceptions, conscious and unconscious, in order to promote intercultural understanding in our daily lives?

To represent the essentials for starting SDG 10 Reducing inequality within and between nations and SDG 16 Peace, justice and strong institutions.
