Puño will take part in the festival, while IED will award a scholarship to the LAD Young Talent 2026 winner.
IED returns as an institutional partner of LADFEST – Latin American Design Festival, which will celebrate ten years of design and creativity in Latin America in Lima.
The 2026 edition will bring together international speakers, studios, agencies, brands, students and professionals to exchange perspectives, share experiences and discuss the future of the creative industries.
Among the guests will be David Peña Toribio, known as “Puño”. The Spanish illustrator and creative teaches on the Postgraduate Programme in Art Direction and is Programme Leader of the Creative Illustration programme at IED Kunsthal Bilbao. Through talks and workshops, he will share his perspective on visual design and creativity.
As part of its partnership, IED will award a scholarship for a 2027 summer course to the winner of LAD Young Talent 2026. The award recognises designers under 30 whose portfolios stand out for their originality and innovation. Through this initiative, IED reaffirms its commitment to the education and development of emerging Latin American talent.
The festival will also offer designers a space to showcase their projects, gain visibility and build connections with other professionals across the region.
The IED team will be on hand to introduce study opportunities at its campuses in Spain and Italy, and answer questions about programmes, tuition fees, scholarships and admission requirements.
