Rethinking the restaurant as a domestic space, where hospitality grows from memory, everyday rituals and a sense of belonging.
A restaurant inspired by Guido's home: a place deeply rooted in the traditions of the Langhe, shaped by simple gestures and timeless objects reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility.
The space gradually unfolds as a landscape of domesticity, articulated through a sequence of intimate alcoves that redefine the experience of conviviality. Here, guests do more than take a seat—they become part of a story, rediscovering the warmth and familiarity of coming home.
The project was developed as part of the Bachelor's Programme in Interior Design at IED Torino, in collaboration with Guido Ristorante by Ugo and Piero Alciati. Starting from the case study of the Albergo dell'Agenzia Restaurant in Pollenzo, the brief invited students to rethink the contemporary dining experience through interior design, exploring the role of space in shaping hospitality, conviviality and the relationship with the local territory.
