This project imagines an integrated catering system for the lunar environment, where technology, design, and social interaction redefine the experience of eating in space.

The core is a cafeteria with three modes: a standard mode based on ordering from a base menu via app; a thematic mode where weekly user-selected themes inspire chefs to create tailored menus; and a user-designed mode where participants design dishes through the app, which are then produced via 3D food printing before preparation and sharing. The app acts as the digital infrastructure of the experience, integrating orders, bookings, DIY activities, table-height adjustment, and a social community. Tableware is designed for microgravity, featuring magnetic bases and lids to prevent food from floating, and is adapted to different food types, from fresh produce to 3D-printed meals. The system is completed by a wearable communication device with micro-projectors, enabling continuous interaction with the digital layer and transforming the meal into a shared, adaptive, and social experience.
