Elytra is designed for a new generation of professionals looking for freedom, comfort and a break from the pace of the city. Inspired by the ladybug, the concept combines biomimetic forms, a dual-layer system and lounge interiors, transforming the car into an intimate and relaxed space where movement becomes a moment of disconnection and reconnection.
The thesis project in Transportation Design stems from the collaboration with Tata Motors and invites students to imagine the brand’s first cabriolet, translating its identity and ambitions into desirable and sustainable proposals. The process combined research, experimentation and design vision, exploring future mobility scenarios, formal languages and new ways of connecting the car, the user and the surrounding context.
