A transformative space that translates the metamorphosis of food—from raw ingredient to finished dish—into architecture.
Flexible configurations and elements activated by people's presence make change perceptible.
The kitchen, the heart of the experience, remains visible together with the gestures and processes behind food preparation, fostering a direct relationship with guests.
Space, people and cuisine merge into a dynamic and coherent system.
The project was developed as part of the Bachelor's Programme in Interior Design at IED Torino, in collaboration with Guido Ristorante by Ugo and Piero Alciati. Starting from the case study of the Albergo dell'Agenzia Restaurant in Pollenzo, the brief invited students to rethink the contemporary dining experience through interior design, exploring the role of space in shaping hospitality, conviviality and the relationship with the local territory.
