A luxury catamaran inspired by Mannerism, combining sculptural lines, refined details and new layout possibilities
MC 54 develops the concept for a 15x6 metre motor catamaran, designed to introduce a new aesthetic direction within the luxury boating segment. Starting from market research and an analysis of the brand’s positioning, the project identifies private owners looking for a comfortable and versatile cruising experience, as well as clients oriented towards high-end charter use.
The design approach stems from a deliberately unconventional source of inspiration: Mannerism, reinterpreted through elaborate proportions, formal tension and compositional complexity. Sculptural lines, refined details and versatile layouts define a vessel that balances aesthetic provocation with functionality. The outboard engine version, developed at the company’s request, completes the project by enhancing lightness, performance and the organisation of the aft volumes.
The project is part of a thesis brief focused on the development of a motor catamaran for Pardo Yachts, interpreting the brand’s identity through a new vision of life at sea: essential, conscious and deeply connected to nature.
