An illustrated campaign that tells the story of the social market through the metaphor of the postage stamp
The project uses the postage stamp as a visual metaphor to portray the Consulta's social market as a place of connection, diversity, and mutual support. A series of illustrated posters transforms fruit and vegetables into symbolic images, inviting the public to discover a reality that often goes unnoticed. Through a bold and accessible visual language, the campaign raises awareness of food poverty while celebrating diversity, turning illustration into a tool for participation and social awareness.
Consulta per le Persone in Difficoltà (CPD) invited students to develop illustration projects that translate the principles of inclusion, participation, accessibility, and dignity into a contemporary visual language. Through the design of communication tools and site-specific interventions, the project explored the potential of illustration as a form of social communication, capable of fostering empathy, awareness, and new forms of connection.
