Sandhya interprets the car as a space of transition, balance and presence. Inspired by the Indian meaning of its name, connected to the gradual passage between two states, the vehicle turns movement into a calm and intentional experience through soft surfaces, sculptural copper volumes and performance without aggression.
The thesis project in Transportation Design stems from the collaboration with Tata Motors and invites students to imagine the brand’s first cabriolet, translating its identity and ambitions into desirable and sustainable proposals. The process combined research, experimentation and design vision, exploring future mobility scenarios, formal languages and new ways of connecting the car, the user and the surrounding context.
