A modular glamping tent that reimagines outdoor living as a flexible environment where structure, furniture and storage come together in a single integrated system.

Fabio Caricato, Ludovico Muratori and Francesco Poletto present Ventura, a thesis project developed within the Undergraduate course in Product Design in collaboration with Terranostra. Addressing the theme of Slow Tourism, the three designers rethink the glamping experience through an essential and adaptable solution that encourages a closer relationship with nature without compromising comfort.

At the heart of the project is a multifunctional tent organised around a single large mattress, which becomes the surface for every daily activity. Replacing the conventional separation between sleeping and living areas, the design creates a continuous and versatile space, supported by a wooden platform that ensures stability even on uneven terrain.

The system is completed by eight modular crates that support every stage of the user experience: they house the tent components during transport and, once assembled, transform into the outdoor deck while also serving as seating, storage units, work surfaces and dedicated modules for cooking and luggage. By assigning multiple functions to each element, Ventura offers a contemporary interpretation of glamping based on modularity, adaptability and the efficient use of resources.
