A journey through the constantly evolving world of fashion and beauty, how to understand trends and use them for your client's look.
The Image Consulting Summer Course invites you to discover how fashion and style can become powerful tools for communication and personal expression. Through a holistic approach to personal image styling, you will learn to analyse the different aspects that shape a person's image, considering their characteristics, needs and personal style to develop coherent, tailored consulting proposals for each client.
Throughout the programme, you will deepen your understanding of fashion culture and styling, learning to identify trends and adapt them to different profiles. You will explore analysis and consulting tools related to visagism, colour analysis, image psychology and coaching, alongside knowledge of textiles, personal styles, wardrobe organisation and personal shopping management.
Over three weeks, you will combine theoretical classes, case studies, workshops, talks with professionals and practical exercises that reflect the processes and professional management involved in an image consulting project. This methodology will allow you to connect the knowledge acquired with real-world situations in the industry and understand how to develop personalised proposals from a practical and comprehensive perspective.
This programme is taught at the IED Barcelona campus.
