From 23 to 27 April, IED Barcelona will once again participate in Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW), showcasing the talent, creativity and excellence in bridal fashion design emerging from its classrooms and workshops.
The trade show’s commercial pavilion will exhibit 15 illustrations of wedding dresses by students of the Postgraduate in Wedding and Ceremony Dresses Design, displayed in the form of a Fashion Wall, revealing the design process behind the creations.
Further, IED Barcelona Director Andrea Marchesi will once again be on the jury of the Barcelona Bridal & Fashion Awards, which recognise excellence in the sector, that this year are celebrating their third edition. The awards will be presented on 26 April.
Almanac goes white with IED Barcelona
In parallel to BBFW, from 22 to 28 April 22, 12 creations by students of the Postgraduate in Wedding and Ceremony Dresses Design will be showcased in an exhibition located across various interior spaces of the Almanac Barcelona hotel, an official partner of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week.
And, for the seventh year in a row, until 5 May, Gratacós will host three wedding dress looks created by postgraduate alumni in the window of its store, internationally renowned for haute couture fabrics.
