Can craft, design and anthropology transform our relationship with food, materials and the environment? Through ancestral gestures, traditional craft practices and ingenious design, renowned architect Francesca Sarti will reinvent the table as a space for social connection and environmental awareness in the online masterclass “Future Frugal: Crafting conviviality in a new ‘age of scarcity’”. The session, hosted by IED Barcelona, will take place on 19 November at 6.30 pm.
The masterclass introduces the concept of ‘frugal intelligence’ as a way of rethinking food, rituals and togetherness in an age of scarcity.
