As part of Barcelona Dibuixa, on 17 October from 4 pm to 8 pm, IED Barcelona will open its doors to anyone interested in discovering the power of hand drawing as a tool for imagining, exploring and shaping new scenarios in the field of design.
The workshop “The Power of Hand Drawing”, led by IED architect and lecturer Gianfranco La Cognata, known artistically as Laco 2, will offer participants the opportunity to reinterpret different design elements found throughout IED’s spaces, including fashion looks, posters, objects, models and prototypes, among others, through sketches and drawings created using different artistic techniques (pencil, ballpoint pen, watercolour or marker pen).
An experience that demonstrates that drawing by hand remains one of the most powerful tools for observing, thinking, experimenting and creating collectively.
Free activity aimed at young people and adults. No previous experience is required.
