IED Madrid hosts an exhibition marking the 10th anniversary of Sepiia, the fashion brand founded by designer and alumnus Federico Sáinz de Robles
Sepiia arrives at IED Madrid with an exhibition celebrating a decade of research, design and innovation applied to fashion. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the evolution of the brand, from its beginnings to the present day, showcasing the processes and ideas that have shaped its identity.
Founded by Federico Sáinz de Robles, an alumnus of the IED Madrid Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Sepiia was created with the aim of developing garments that respond to the needs of contemporary life. By comining design, scince and technology, the brand has developed a proposal based on functional, comfortable and durable garments.
Over the past ten years, the brand has consolidated its position as one of Spain’s leading names in innovative and sustinable fashion, receiving various recognitions for its work. Among them is the National Innovation Award in the Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprise category, awarded in 2025 by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities to Federico Sáinz de Robles for his work at the helm of Sepiia.
Celebrating this 10th anniversary at IED Madrid also represents a return to the school where the designer trained, connecting his professional career with the place where his journey in the field of design began.
