On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of IED Barcelona and taking place within the programme of Barcelona Design Week, IED Barcelona’s annual fashion show, Fashioners of the World, will take place on Monday 13 June at 7 pm.

The show will be held at the emblematic Fundació Joan Miró Barcelona, bringing together creativity, art and design in our annual fashion event. A total of 25 collections by recent graduates of our Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and BA (Hons) Fashion Design programmes will be showcased.

In addition to the Franca Sozzani Award for Best Fashion Collection, selected by a distinguished international jury; that of Best Fashion Film, chosen by the Film Director Isabel Coixet; and the Best Shooting Award, presented by the renowned Photographer Manuel Outumuro; this year will also see recognition for Best Fashion Illustration, awarded by Jordi Labanda.

Further, Manuel Outumuro will sign a special exhibition of photographs commemorating IED Barcelona’s 20-year trajectory.
