An Exchange Study Program & Study Abroad agreement was signed by IED and Academy of Arts University (AAU) both institutions last February.
D & AAU Fashion School in San Francisco forge first academic partnership

The agreement strives to foster students' mobility, promote greater international cooperation and nurture design knowledge on a global scale.
Founded in San Francisco in 1929, the Academy of Art University (AAU) is a leading private art and design school at national and international level; IED signs this first agreement with the institution specifically with AAU Fashion School department.
As the foundation of the relationship, this agreement opens the door for students from both institutions to enrich their academic experiences by spending a semester on each other's campuses. Through this comprehensive Exchange Study Program & Study Abroad agreement, AAU fashion design students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a Bachelor of Arts course in Fashion Design taught in English at one of IED locations in Italy, and vice versa.
This agreement is another addition to IED partnership with USA institutions; CCS College of Creative Studies (Detroit); Pratt Institute (New York); MIAD - Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (Milwaukee); and Ringling College of Art and Design (Sarasota).
