Design yourself so as not to be designed: growing as professionals becomes the counterpart of personal growth.
Design yourself so as not to be designed: this is the message underlying the claim of the Postgraduate School of IED Milan, Design Yourself. The idea is that during the year, IED Postgraduate students change a lot, whilst living in a shared space full of stimuli: also from a human point of view. And thus: growing as professionals becomes the
counterpart of personal growth.
Design Yourself is thus a cycle of inspirational conferences that every year accompany the institutional teaching activity of IED Postgraduate School of Milan; with themes that change from edition to edition, told by Italian professionals (of different occupations and backgrounds) who interpret them through their own personal experiences.
This year’s theme will be: Viral Professionalism. The employment market is changing rapidly and it is particularly interesting to follow the footsteps of those who are renewing it, from different profiles. This year's speakers belong to three very different contexts but are all linked to peculiar and innovative methods and experiences, which entail a strong interest in the centrality of the creative industries in training, such as IED students.
The conferences, in English, will take place in the theatre of the IED Milano Fashion School campus in via Pompeo Leoni 3, at 6.30 pm, and have as an audience all the master students of the Postgraduate School, around 230 young people.
