Once again, IED Barcelona is collaborating with the GrausTIC Awards as design partner. Carlos Solines, a fourth-year Motion Graphics and Video student, created the NFT selected as the virtual trophy for these awards that celebrate the innovative use of information and communication technologies in Catalonia.
His work was showcased at the award ceremony held on 13 November as part of the GrausTIC 2025 Conference.
Solines' NFT is inspired by the concept of "eureka," that moment of clarity when the definitive idea emerges. Six coloured dots—one for each category—move dynamically and frenetically, referencing the behavior of technology, neurons, and energy in general. The dots are complemented by glitched movements and images, leading to a loading bar to add suspense and, finally, the announcement of the winner of each award.
