An international educational experience that integrates learning, research, and the exploration of new cultural and artistic contexts.

IED Summer Courses represent an intensive educational opportunity for students and professionals who wish to deepen their areas of interest and develop skills in the fields of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts, and Communication, while engaging in an experience that integrates learning, research, and the exploration of dynamic and contemporary cultural and artistic contexts.

Delivered in English or Spanish during the months of June and July, the Summer Courses are held at IED campuses in Italy and Spain, as well as at Accademia di Como Aldo Galli.

A practical, international, and inspirational approach

IED Summer Courses combine academic instruction with project-based practice, incorporating research activities, teamwork, and continuous exchange with faculty and fellow students. The multicultural environment fosters the sharing of ideas, the broadening of perspectives, and the development of a more informed and critical understanding of the chosen discipline.

The teaching approach reflects the IED philosophy: an inspirational, project-oriented methodology focused on personal and professional growth, the strengthening of practical skills, and the enhancement of participants’ portfolios.

Two course levels

The programme is structured into two levels:

  • Introductory, for individuals approaching a disciplinary field for the first time and seeking to acquire foundational knowledge;
  • Advanced, for students and young professionals with established competencies who wish to further develop and refine their skills.

A dedicated promotion

An Early Bird promotion is available for the Summer Courses, designed to make this educational experience more accessible.
