IED Istituto Europeo di Design confirms its place among the world's top fashion education institutions, ranking 18th globally in the Best Fashion Schools In The World 2026 report by CEOWORLD Magazine. This marks the second consecutive year IED has appeared among the world's top 20 fashion schools.
How many fashion schools were assessed in the CEOWORLD 2026 ranking?
The 2026 CEOWORLD ranking surveyed more than 250,000 fashion industry professionals — including recruiters, alumni, educators, and industry leaders — across 180 countries, between November 2025 and February 2026. The research evaluated 124 international institutions across seven weighted indicators.
What position does IED hold in the world's best fashion schools ranking?
IED ranks 18th overall, with a score of 86.88 out of 100, placing it among only three Italian-founded institutions in the global top 20, and the highest-ranked institution based in Spain.
The 2026 global top three is led by Parsons School of Design (New York), followed by Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and London College of Fashion in London.
