Kering Eyewear supports the creativity of tomorrow’s designers with a scholarship dedicated to the memory of Sara Furin, aimed at students of the Jewelry and Accessories Design Course at IED Torino.
There is a thread that connects the stories of those who choose to design the future: the desire to turn creativity into a tangible gesture capable of leaving a mark. It is with this spirit that the “Sara Furin” Scholarship was created, established by IED Torino with the support of Kering Eyewear, a leading company in the luxury eyewear sector and part of the international Kering group.
This initiative is dedicated to the memory of a young designer who embodied talent, sensitivity, and passion for design. The scholarship honors her legacy by empowering those same values and supporting the journeys of tomorrow’s designers.
Applications are open from November 4 to December 10, 2025, for students who can apply by presenting an original design concept that expresses their creative vision and personal identity. The scholarship offers the opportunity to enroll in the First-Level Academic Diploma in Jewelry and Accessories Design at IED Torino for the 2026/27 academic year, covering the full or partial cost of the course, up to a maximum of €10,000 per year of study.
The three-year program combines artisanal knowledge and technological innovation, integrating jewelry design with accessories such as bags, eyewear, footwear, and leather goods. Through hands-on workshops, field trips, and ongoing collaborations with companies, manufacturers, and institutions, students develop a comprehensive design vision, guided by highly qualified professional instructors. Advanced 3D software use and a continuous focus on sustainability enable the creation of objects that engage with the body and the present time while anticipating trends.
Strongly rooted in Turin, a city of manufacturing excellence and artistic experimentation, the program is distinguished by a cross-disciplinary approach that blends the craftsmanship of traditional goldsmithing, footwear, and eyewear with emerging technologies and design culture, offering students an environment of exchange, inspiration, and innovation.
The Kering Eyewear Scholarship represents a unique opportunity to transform talent into experience, grow through design, and contribute one’s vision to the world of contemporary design.
The course is delivered in Italian. To participate, please register here.
