Ikchan Lee, a student at IED Roma, wins the Technical Jury First Prize with the project Milky Way, while Bianca Mesturini, a student at IED Torino, wins the Public First Prize with the project Embrace.
During Vicenza Oro, Ikchan Lee, a student of the Jewelry Design course at IED Roma, and Bianca Mesturini, a student of the Jewelry and Accessories Design course at IED Torino, won respectively the Technical Jury First Prize with Milky Way and the Public First Prize with Embrace.
Now in its tenth edition, the PROGOL3D® Design Contest is an international competition promoted by Progold and dedicated to new talents in jewelry design. The 2026 edition, developed in collaboration with Pomellato and Platinum Guild International, involved 14 international institutes, with 165 participating students and 280 submitted projects. The theme, “Free Volume – Pomellato Earrings in the Additive Era”, focused on exploring form, volume, and material through Design for Additive Manufacturing applied to 18K rose gold, platinum, and titanium.
The winning projects were exhibited at the Progold stand during Vicenza Oro.
